Membrane Remediation

HausBau was engaged to remediate incorrectly installed membranes from a previous builder. The existing membrane system was removed and reworked, with detailing revised to correctly manage water and ensure long-term durability.

Through careful installation and sequencing, the project achieved Passivhaus-level airtightness using a single external membrane layer—improving from over 2 ACH to below 0.6 ACH.
