HausBau is led by builder and carpenter Ferdi, a Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson with experience delivering high-performance and architecturally driven homes across Sydney.

With a background in both hands-on construction and building science, he brings a practical understanding of how high-performance buildings are realised on site - precision, sequencing, and attention to detail are essential.

Ferdi also has a background in finance, which informs a structured and transparent approach to project delivery. This allows him to work closely with clients and consultants to manage budgets, assess cost implications of design decisions early, and minimise unexpected variations during construction.

He is passionate about bespoke carpentry and values buildings that balance form and function, shaping both the technical and crafted aspects of HausBau’s work
